“Outlander” actor: In the Sept. 29 Calendar section, a photo caption accompanying an article about Lionsgate’s plans for Starz misidentified “Outlander” star Caitriona Balfe as Jamie Fraser.

Crumbling currency: In the Sept. 27 Section A, an article about Afghanistan’s deteriorating afghani bills misquoted Philippe Kropf, a U.N. World Food Program official, due to a transcription error. Kropf said the program was providing cash for various causes, including for contracting services with partners, not for salaries.
