Hollywood costume designer Ray Aghayan has died at the age of 83, his long time partner Bob Mackie announced. Aghayan had designed for stars such as Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross and Julie Andrews. He was nominated for Academy Awards three times, and with Mackie won an Emmy in 1967 for ‘Alice through the Looking Glass.’ [Los Angeles Times]
