Maybe the Oscars’ producers aren’t so thrilled, after all, that James Franco has launched a Twitter account. Late last night he posted this whine, ‘they pulled this from the oscar show. damn it.’ It was accompanied by a link to audio feed of the ceremony host crooning –- well, more like warbling –- Cher’s tune from ‘Burlesque’ that wasn’t nominated for best song: ‘You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me.’
‘A bit growly,’ he admits about his own rendition done with piano backup. Happily, he laughs here and there too, acknowledging how awful he is.
Let’s hope he performs this on the Oscarcast while dressed in that notorious black headdress Cher wore to the 1986 ceremony.
