New Year’s Day dining in L.A.

It seems like almost every restaurant shuts down on Jan. 1. What? Do people stop needing to eat on New Year’s Day?! This is by no means an exhaustive list, but here are a few places -- from Brent’s Deli and Little Dom’s to Moles La Tia and Tigeorges’ Chicken -- where I wouldn’t mind nursing a hangover on New Year’s Day.
