The LA Weekly reports that Editor in Chief Laurie Ochoa is leaving the paper. She assumed the position in 2001 and had previously worked at Gourmet magazine as well as the Los Angeles Times as Food editor. Ochoa left The Times in 1999. Her husband, Jonathan Gold, is an LA Weekly food writer who won a Pulitzer Prize in 2007 and also formerly worked at the The Times Food section.
