Bill Clinton will publish ‘Back to Work’ in November

Former President Bill Clinton is going back to the page with a new book, ‘Back To Work,’ to be published in November by Knopf. Knopf’s chairman and editor in chief, Sonny Mehta, made the announcement Thursday as Clinton’s Global Initiative met for its final day in New York City.
“I wrote this book because I love my country and I’m concerned about our future,” writes Clinton. “As I often said when I first ran for president in 1992, America at its core is an idea -- the idea that no matter who you are or where you’re from, if you work hard and play by the rules, you’ll have the freedom and opportunity to pursue your own dreams and leave your kids a country where they can chase theirs.”
Since leaving office Clinton has been hard at work at the business of statesmanship. He teamed with George W. Bush to raise funds for recovery efforts after catastrophes in Southern Asia and Haiti, and through his foundation has sought to address other global issues.
He has also written a bestselling memoir, the 1,008-page ‘My Life.’ It was published in 2004 -- also by Knopf.
