CB2’s Co-Op dining table inadvertently caught my eye recently when I sat down and used it as a surface to take some notes. I liked its size and simple, sturdy construction. At 83 inches wide and 34 inches deep, it feels long and lean. The table can easily seat six -- or eight close friends -- and rests on a pair of striking industrial-steel legs that are powder-coated black.

And as someone whose dining table does double duty as the family desk space, I liked the smooth shesham wood tabletop stained a warm brown. Perfect for homework.
