Anne Hathaway pics show more of Catwoman; fans resume breathing

Anne Hathaway has perhaps heard a collective sigh ripple across the Internet now that pictures of her Catwoman costume from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ have answered some burning questions.

The third Batman film from director Christopher Nolan has set up shop in Los Angeles, one of its final locations. This weekend, several on-set images of Hathaway let the world know a few things.

First, Hathaway’s Catwoman does indeed rock some cat ears, despite earlier images of the bodysuit-clad ‘One Day’ star that failed to show proof of any such feline accessory. The new photo series also shows a black eye mask to complement her headgear.

What else? There’s a pronounced utility belt that will likely aid in battling Christian Bale’s caped crusader and Tom Hardy’s Bane — that, and a pair of thigh-high leather stiletto boots that boast white spike heels.

Some critics have likened the costume to Julie Newmar’s from the campy, old-school ‘Batman’ TV series starring Adam West. And some folks have just uttered hallelujahs over their 40-ounce Slurpees while swiveling in their pleather office chairs.
