Adele to release ‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’ album, DVD

Fans who have missed out on seeing Adele live, whether due to sold-out shows or canceled gigs (both possibilities as of late), can finally see why the singer has been in demand for most of the year.
The British soul diva will release ‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’ on DVD and CD on Nov. 29, her label announced Wednesday.

‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’ will feature the singer’s 90-minute set of tracks from both her albums and includes covers of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and the Steeldrivers’ “If It Hadn’t Been for Love.” There is also behind-the-scenes footage from the show.
Adele’s sophomore disc, ‘21,’ has remained a dominant force on the charts this year. But the singer has been plagued by vocal issues that have affected her touring schedule. She was recently forced to cancel a sold-out 10-city tour because of a hemorrhage on her vocal cord. This after she previously halted a leg of her tour in June after being stricken with laryngitis.
Thankfully for the singer and her label, ‘21’ never suffered. The disc will again reclaim its comfortable spot atop the Billboard 200 chart next week, and it continues to break sales records. Adele also leads the list of nominees for the upcoming American Music Awards.
