Good news for Rick Castle and Kate Beckett: their will-they-or-won’t they romantic comedy will live to see another TV season.
‘Castle,’ which ABC says has delivered its biggest audience for a scripted series in its time period since 1996, has been renewed for a third season.
ABC President of Entertainment Steve McPherson said the network ‘believed in ‘Castle’ and its team from the beginning and have patiently built it into the hit we knew it could be. This success is the result of the powerful collaboration that we forged between the network and the studio with the formation of the ABC Entertainment Group last year. Not only does the audience get bigger each week, the show gets better every year, and we’re looking forward to an incredible third season.’
