Charlie Sheen says that he is 100% clean and plans to show up for work on the set of ‘Two and a Half Men,’ despite the fact that CBS suspended the show, the actor told ‘Good Morning America’ on Friday through a series of text messages.
Sheen also said he’s thinking about switching channels to HBO, where he plans to star in his own show called ‘Sheen’s Corner.’ HBO says there’s no truth to Sheen’s claim.
The actor’s text messages to ‘Good Morning America’ arrived shortly after he addressed his suspension Thursday night in an open letter obtained by TMZ. The letter found him continuing his ongoing attacks on the show’s executive producer Chuck Lorre, referred to by Sheen as ‘Haim Levine,’ in an apparent slur against Lorre, who was born Charles Michael Levine.
‘What does this say about Haim Levine after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me,’ Sheen wrote. ‘I gracefully ignored this folly for 177 shows. I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can’t handle my power and can’t handle the truth. I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words -- imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists. I urge all my beautiful and loyal fans who embraced this show for almost a decade to walk with me side-by-side as we march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong.’
