Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton started the official press tour in advance of their May 2 junior-welterweight fight in Las Vegas by staging a game of darts at a neighborhood pub in Manchester, England, this weekend.
The showdown was a logical undercard to their upcoming super-fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Pacquiao has a steel darts set inside his upscale Los Angeles apartment where he resides during training, and Hatton has made it no secret that he fancies having a pint and throwing darts at pubs whenever he’s not locked into a training camp.
The results of the dart game were not immediately available, and it was unclear from photos provided what game they were playing -- Cricket, 501 or some unique version the boxers have developed in their extra time.
Also unclear if there was drinking in the pub. Even without alcohol, Pacquiao has been known to engage in another fun bar activity, karaoke.
