As you might recall, USC Coach Pete Carroll wasn’t exactly pleased when quarterback Mark Sanchez announced he was leaving the Trojans to turn pro.

Sanchez went on to become the No. 5 pick overall by the New York Jets.

It remains to be seen how Sanchez’s NFL career will play out, but it already has been an enriching experience. The New York Daily News is reporting that Sanchez has agreed to a five-year contract that includes $28 million in guarantees.
