Lakeview Terrace: Man, 18, is found shot to death

The body of an 18-year-old Latino man with multiple gunshot wounds was found in the frontyard of a home in the 17000 block of Sunburst Street at 1:44 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.

Two people driving in the area found the victim, Roel Mejia of Reseda, lying on the ground, said Officer Marjan Mobasser of the Los Angeles Police Department.

‘They got out to see if he was OK and saw that he had blood all over,’ Mobasser said.

Paramedics pronounced Mejia dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call the LAPD’s Devonshire Division station at (818) 832-0633.
