Michael Gudiel, a 24-year-old Latino, was shot and died June 21 in the 13900 block of Proctor Avenue in unincorporated Los Angeles County, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
The Pasadena Star-News reported that Gudiel was shot about 3:15 a.m. in a drive-by attack that police are calling gang-related.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and found Gudiel lying in the street with a gunshot wound. His sister told the Star-News that he had been walking home alone when the incident happened.
