Opinion: Behind the scenes video at NBC for President Obama’s visit today

We interrupt the preparations for the president’s Los Angeles town hall meeting to bring you a fun NBC video about his later national TV appearance.

Gee, do you think the folks there at NBC in Burbank are excited -- almost giddy -- about President Obama showing up in a couple of hours to talk on tape with Jay Leno of ‘The Tonight Show’?

Here’s some behind-the-scenes video on the eager preparations.

Also, we should note everyone in suits back in Washington are not happy about the president glad-handing his way across the Southland -- with Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, no less -- and releasing his NCAA brackets while the political turmoil continues back in D.C. over who knew what, when and where about the controversial AIG bonuses. Of course, when isn’t there political turmoil there?

Also, btw, Garth Brooks is on the ‘Tonight Show’ too tonight; so he’s getting a special set.
