It wasn’t a DJ that decided the Pac-5 Division semifinal Friday at Home Depot Center, but an EJ.

EJ Woods dove over the mass of bodies at the line of scrimmage from two yards to give Crespi a 13-10 overtime victory over Servite.

Servite was primed for a goal-line stand after the Celts drove to the one-yard line. Woods took a direct snap and was tackled for a one-yard loss.

Austin Shanks, who carried four times on the eight-play drive, carried to the left side before he was pulled down by Matt Kalil.

But on third down from the one, Woods took a handoff from Bryan Bennett and leaped head-first over the line. It set off a serious celebration for Crespi (11-2), the Serra League champion. The Celts, who have won titles in 1986, 2004 and 2005, will face the winner of the upcoming Long Beach Poly-Orange Lutheran semifinal next Saturday right here at the Home Depot Center.
