Michael Snaer might be one of the best kept basketball secrets on the West Coast. But the junior from Rancho Verde won’t be considered a sleeper on the national level for much longer, not if NCAA Division I scouts have anything to do with it.
The 6-foot-4 guard has several scholarship offers on the table, including one from Cal and USC, and he recently visited Arizona, a worthwhile trip according to these quotes. You can add Kansas and UConn to the list of other programs expressing interest.
A decision about his future, more specifically, his college plans, could come as early as this summer. In the meantime, it’s reasonable to expect hearing more and more about Snaer. The secret is out of the bag.
