Chaminade senior midfielder Alyssa Engstrom has committed to Michigan, according to Eagles’ Coach Mike Evans.
Engstrom, who also plays on the Northridge-based Valley United Stars club team, tallied seven goals and three assists as a junior. Chaminade posted a 10-5-8 overall record en route to a second-place finish in the Mission League in 2007-08.
The Eagles return 10 starters this winter and are considered one of the favorites for the Mission League title.
