Boys’ basketball: Pacific Hills is ascending toward victory at halftime

Pacific Hills has come back from a six-point deficit in the first quarter to lead Windward at halftime, 19-14, in the Southern California Division V regional championship today at Cal State Fullerton.
After not scoring for the first five minutes of the game, the Bruins went on a 10-2 run at the end of the first quarter to take a 10-8 lead over the Wildcats.
Junior guard Marc William Porter scored nine points and senior forward Alex Osborne had eightfor Pacific Hills. Sophomore forward Wesley Saunder, senior center Anthony Stover and senior guard Darius Morris scored four apiece for Windward.
