Boys’ basketball: Taft coach is seeing lots of ex-players

Woodland Hills Taft Coach Derrick Taylor spent the opening day of the War on the Floor tournament Saturday trying to count how many former Taft players are on opposing teams’ rosters. He counted 12 transfers.
‘It looks like the other teams in the Valley can’t finalize their rosters until I make my cuts,’ Taylor said. ‘I’m the farm system for the other teams in the Valley.’
