Dana Hills, the fourth-place finisher from the South Coast League, has pulled off the improbable, advancing to the Southern Section Division 1 championship game after a 5-3 victory over El Dorado.

Dana Hills was a wild-card entrant and has won five playoff games. Peter Tago struck out 13.
