Baseball: Bryce Harper’s legend grows

On Monday, Bryce Harper, who should be a junior in high school, is expected to be taken No. 1 in baseball’s amateur draft.

Here’s the latest story from SI.com that really explains what makes the 17-year-old Harper so special. He plays for a junior college team in Nevada, and against Central Arizona, he went six for six with four home runs, a double and a triple.

If it took $15.1 million to sign Stephen Strasburg last year, what will it take to sign Harper? Scott Boras is his agent, and former Thousand Oaks standout Kurt Stillwell has been working with Harper.
