Los Angeles Jefferson will get to play its first-ever night home games this season thanks to donations and work from the Los Angeles School Police Assn. and the LAPD Newton Division.
Lights will be put up for four home games, starting with Wednesday’s 7 p.m. game against Los Angeles Fremont.
Students in the Human Efforts Aimed at Relating Together program approached the school administration to identify options for allowing night games to be played at the school and spearheaded the drive.
