Dylan Hatch of Redondo hit a three-run home run in the first inning of the South Bay Summer League all-star game earlier this week and finished with two hits to emerge as the game’s standout.
Manhattan Beach Mira Costa continues to have the best record in the league at 10-1.
Teddy Kerwin of West Torrance turned in the best pitching performance of the week, striking out 12 in a 3-1 victory over El Segundo.
Playoffs begin on July 28.
