Football: Diablos fumble on first possession

On Mission Viejo’s first drive, quarterback Alex Bridgford fumbled on a quarterback sneak and Santa Margarita recovered at the Diablos’ 39-yard line. However, the Eagles were unable to capitalize when quarterback Jonny Stanton was sacked on third down, forcing a punt.

MIssion Viejo will have the ball back at its own 11-yard line.
