There are some good tournaments starting on Monday, with plenty of opportunities to watch top matchups.
The Santa Monica tournament features an opening game on Monday at 5 p.m. between Los Angeles Windward and West Hills Chaminade.
The schedule: Price vs. Canoga Park, 3:30 p.m.; Palmdale vs. Fairfax, 6;30 p.m.; Santa Monica vs. Cleveland, 8 p.m. Tuesday’s schedule: Alemany vs. Birmingham, 3:30 p.m.; Corona Centennial vs. Palisades, 5 p.m.; El Camino Real vs. Eisenhower, 6:30 p.m.; Loyola vs. East Bakersfield, 8 p.m.
The Westchester tournament has Gardena Serra, Taft, Washington and St. Bernard. Monday’s schedule: West Torrance vs. Bishop Montgomery, 3 p.m.; Peninsula vs. Morningside, 4:30 p.m.; Taft vs. Gardena, 6 p.m.; Washington vs. Locke, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday: St. Bernard vs. Compton Centennial, 3 p.m.; Gardena Serra vs. Lynwood, 4:30 p.m.; San Bernardino vs. LB Jordan, 6 p.m.; Westchester vs. Hawthorne, 7:30 p.m.
The Canyon Country Canyon tournament has Crespi, Valencia and Grant. Monday’s schedule: Quartz Hill vs. Grant, 3 p.m.; Crespi vs. Panorama, 4:30 p.m.; Lancaster vs. Eagle Rock, 6 p.m.; Paraclete vs. Kennedy, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday: Panorama vs. Eastside 3 p.m.; Highland vs. Paraclete, 4:30 p.m.; Valencia vs. Quartz Hill, 6 p.m.; Canyon vs. Eagle Rock, 7:30 p.m.
All have championship games on Saturday night.
