Los Angeles Loyola pulled out a 65-62 victory over Bellarmine of Tacoma, Wash., on Wednesday in a first-round game of the National Jesuit Christmas Classic at Georgetown Prep in Maryland.

Jacob Hazzard scored 20 points and Julian Harrell had 19 for the Cubs (9-0), who will face unbeaten Jesuit (Fla.) on Thursday.
