Venice will be allowed to schedule a 10th opponent if San Diego Helix can also find a game. The two schools were scheduled to play in a nonleague game but had a communication problem and ended up having to cancel.

Helix has an opening on Sept. 28 and has been unable to find an opponent. Venice has an opponent lined up early in the season if Helix can fill its opening.
