Football: Crespi holds 28-7 halftime lead

Cody Cordell’s two-yard quarterback sneak with 1:12 left in the second quarter increased Crespi’s lead to 28-7 over Clovis West and that remains the score at halftime of tonight’s intersectional contest in Encino.

Cordell had his first pass intercepted, but connected on his next five in a row and has 135 yards and two touchdown throws to Ja’Brian Blackwell. Okalani Langi has rushed for 106 yards in 12 carries for the Celts.

Tayler Bustamante has been a one-man show for Clovis West, rushing 12 times for 80 yards and a TD and adding three receptions for 42 yards.
