Rocky Pouget scored the only goal of the match and goalie Debbie Powers had 15 saves Wednesday to lift host Newbury Park to a 1-0 win over Westlake in the opening round of girls Marmonte League Soccer action. In other opening round action, Simi Valley and Camarillo fought to a scoreless tie.
