Prep Basketball GIRLS : Reseda 50, Monroe 31
Desiree Mims and Thresser Walthall--Reseda High’s version of the Twin Towers--led the host Regents to their seventh Valley 3-A League win against one loss.
Mims, a 5-11 senior center, scored 18 points and had 19 rebounds while Walthall, a 5-10 senior forward, had 18 points and 13 rebounds.
Reseda is 10-2 overall. Monroe fell to 5-3 in league.
