Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital will break ground on Feb. 14 for its new Emergency Care Center, which will nearly double its space for emergency patient care.
Construction of the $600,000-center is expected to take eight to 10 months, officials said.
Ground-breaking ceremonies are scheduled at 10 a.m. at the hospital, 4650 Lincoln Blvd.
