Lazers Lose, 7-4, as Las Vegas Moves Into Second Place

LAS VEGAS — Nicky Klincarski scored two goals and added one assist to lead the Las Vegas Americans to a 7-4 victory over the Lazers in a Major Indoor Soccer League game Saturday night.
The victory was the 11th in a row for the Americans, who improved their record to 18-12 and moved into second place in the MISL’s Western Division. The Lazers fell into third place at 18-14.
Klincarski scored goals at the end of the first period and early in the second period as Las Vegas jumped out to a 5-1 lead by halftime.
Americans’ goalkeeper Keith VanEron ran his current win streak to six and won his 100th MISL game.
Beto led Los Angeles with two goals, while Zoran Savic and Poli Garcia scored one each for the Lazers.
