Claremont
Michele Walsh, a 20-year-old senior at Claremont McKenna College, has been named one of 30 students in the United States to receive a Marshall Scholarship. The $12,000 grant will allow her to study for two years at Oxford University in England. Walsh, of Tucson, will use the time to continue her work with autistic children in behavior and speech therapy. She is majoring in psychology and philosophy. Paul Schulz, also a Claremont McKenna senior, received a Rhodes Scholarship earlier this year.
