ORANGE COUNTY
Patrick J. Flanagan has been named division vice president of operations for Taco Bell. Flanagan will be responsible for approximately one-half of Taco Bell’s 1,850 company and franchise restaurants located in 47 states. Irvine-based Taco Bell is a subsidiary of PepsiCo.
Arthur Young & Co. of Orange County has appointed three new principals: Paul Koreneffhas been promoted to principal in the audit department; Jim Pope is a newly named principal in the tax department; and Pete Stevens has been named a principal in the management services department.
Koreneff joined the firm’s Auckland, New Zealand, office in 1972, Pope joined the Orange County office as a manager in 1981, and Stevens has been employed with the firm since 1976.
Rob R. Ukropina, a resident of Corona del Mar, has been appointed president of the Newport Beach division of Pandick California Inc. The company provides printing services to the financial, legal and corporate communities.
Plessey Solid State of Irvine, a supplier and developer of semicustom, hybrid and integrated circuits, announced the appointments of three sales managers. Frank Abreu has been appointed southeast regional sales manager; John Bearcehas been appointed northeast district sales manager; Alan Reichl has been appointed Chesapeake district sales manager.
