Simi Valley High scored two runs in the second inning, two more in the third and one in each the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh to shut out Miraleste, 8-0, in the opening round of the El Segundo Tournament at Miraleste High. Simi is now 2-0 overall, while Miraleste is 0-1.
Todd Sullivan (1-0) was the winning pitcher and the loser was Kevin Marshal (0-1).
