INGLEWOOD — A Ford LTD automobile designed for disabled drivers has been donated to Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital. It will be used by the hospital’s Center for Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Medicine, which has a specialized disabled driver evaluation and training program.
The vehicle was donated by Walker-Buerge Ford in West Los Angeles, whose board chairman, Maurice Buerge, is in a wheelchair and went through the hospital program in 1981.
