Robert C. Byrd has been named president of IMODCO, a Los Angeles-based marine terminal company. He will have overall operating responsibilities, the company said. He replaces Bernard Frankel, who becomes chairman.
Sandy Climan, president and chief operating officer of Wescom Productions, Hollywood, is leaving to become a production consultant and producer. No successor has been named. Wescom is the film production unit of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Los Angeles-based First Interstate Bancrop mistakenly reported that Steven Honda has been named vice president-asset/liability management. He is an assistant vice president.
Steven F. Konow has been appointed vice president for first-run syndication, a new position, at Warner Bros. Television Distribution, Burbank.
L. James Wade Jr. has been named president of Betty Zane Corp., San Dimas, parent company and franchiser of the Morrow’s Nut House retail chain.
Howard Papush has been appointed vice president of Pro Video News Service Inc., Los Angeles, an entertainment and business news agency catering to television stations.
Jean Weiser was named vice president and comptroller for Cinema Group Inc., an independent motion picture production and investment firm based in Los Angeles. Ezra Doner was named vice president-business affairs.
Robert (Robb) P. Schwartz has been named president of Lender’s Escrow Co., Covina.
Vincent Muselli, president-elect of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, has been elected a director of Columbia National Bank, Santa Monica.
Helen Hernandez has been named vice president-public affairs for Embassy Television, Universal City.
World Trade Bank, Beverly Hills, named Stephen G. Vida executive vice president and W. Robert Bradstreet senior vice president.

Engineered Systems & Development Corp., San Jose, named Richard Heaney, senior vice president, to the additional post of chief operating officer.
Barry J. Folsom has been named vice president-East Coast engineering for Mountain View-based Sun Microsystems Inc.
