First Phase of 38 Homes Opens at Sunnymead Development
Monterey Estates today opens its first phase of 38 single-family homes, 17 of which have been sold, and three further phases will bring the Sunnymead development to its planned total of 81.
Ranging in size from 1,461 to 2,014 square feet, the houses offer three and four bedrooms, with two and 2 1/2 baths, priced from $87,990 to $111,990 with VA, FHA and conventional financing.
Features of the homes include central air conditioning, marble countertops in baths, bay windows, two- or three-car attached garages with direct access to homes, stucco exteriors and concrete tile roofs.
The homes also offer vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, stone fireplaces, tiled entries, formal living rooms, separate dining areas and family rooms; most plans have breakfast nooks. Lots average 7,200 square feet.
The developer is Westwood Development. Four models decorated by Suzanne Roberts Interiors are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 25987 Railton St., near Lasselle Street. Occupancy of the first phase is to begin in June.
