College Softball Roundup : Titans Get First Loss Then Win 15th

The Cal State Fullerton women’s softball team lost its first game of the season Saturday but also won its 15th, as the Titans were defeated by Fresno State, 1-0, and then turned around to beat Texas A&M;, 4-0, in nonconference games at Fresno.

In the first game, Susan Lefebvre (6-1) took the loss, despite limiting the Bulldogs to three hits. Fresno scored in the sixth inning on a error by Titan third baseman Joanne Ferrieri. The Titans had five hits but could not score.
