Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos and his wife Imelda are secret partners in three Silicon Valley companies in which their government has allegedly invested millions of dollars, according to a report in the San Francisco Examiner. Marcos and his wife, using intermediaries, have agreed to invest $9.25 million of their money into the business ventures of Vicente Chuidian, the Examiner said in a copyright story quoting unnamed government and other sources. The report said the couple owned 50% of Chuidian’s main holding company, the Asian Reliability Co. Inc.
