Former Major Leaguer Bob Nieman, 58, Dies
Ex-Dodger scout and former major-league outfielder Bob Nieman, who batted .295 in 12 seasons with seven major-league teams, died Sunday in Corona. He was 58.
Funeral services for Nieman, who is survived by his wife, Patricia, and five stepchildren, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Waverley Church in Santa Ana. Burial will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery in Santa Ana.
