About 600 persons were evacuated from their homes in Evergreen, Ala., for the second time in five days as officials, worried about the possibility of an uncontrolled explosion, detonated two chemical-laden railroad cars left over from a fiery derailment last week. The tanker cars, holding highly flammable chemicals, were among 23 cars of a 115-car Seaboard Systems Railroad train that derailed Friday.
