Corona Man Dies of Bullet Wounds; Assailant Sought
A 21-year-old Corona man died early Friday after he was shot twice by an unknown assailant.
Kevin McCright was shot once in the neck and once in the abdomen as he answered the door of his Belle Street home shortly before midnight Thursday, according to Lt. Fred Biggs, commander of detectives for the Corona Police Department.
No signs of a struggle were apparent at the scene, Biggs said. McCright was taken to Riverside General Hospital, where he died Friday morning.
Biggs would not comment on the investigation nor discuss possible motives for the homicide.
