Greer Highlights San Diego State Track Victory
SAN DIEGO — San Diego State defeated the San Diego Athletic Association, 129-26, in a track meet Saturday afternoon at SDSU.
Paul Greer won the 800 meters with a time of 1:51.47, the eighth-best mark in Aztec history. Herve Milner captured the 100 meters with a time of 10.66. Milner beat Kipperr Bell, a former wide receiver at SDSU. The 400 meters saw Anthony Burns win with a 48.16 mark, a career best.
Jason Twedt’s toss of 222.4 gave him first place in the javelin throw. Jerry Nelson pole vaulted 16 feet.
