A Los Angeles City Fire Department rescue ambulance taking an infant to a hospital overturned in San Pedro when another vehicle failed to yield the right-of-way and crashed into it. Only minor injuries resulted from the collision at 17th and Gaffey streets when the ambulance entered the intersection with its siren and flashing red lights on, Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. David Reynolds said. The infant was strapped down on the gurney inside the ambulance and was believed to be uninjured.
