County Department of Sanitation workers continued to monitor gasoline vapor levels around a West Hollywood neighborhood where fumes in sewer lines had reached dangerous levels, county fire officials said. Work crews digging into the 800 block of Huntley Drive discovered cracks in sewer pipes near the site of evacuations earlier in the week, county fire spokesman Michael Jackson said, but officials still have not determined the source of the gasoline vapors. He said the cracks will be patched and an investigation into the source of the fumes will continue.
