The City Council has appointed Judith Mitchell, an attorney and resident of 20 years, to fill an unexpired term on the Parks and Activities Commission. She replaces Richard Cutshall, who resigned last year because of other commitments. Her term expires on Jan. 1, 1986.
In other matters, the council set April 29 and 30 and May 6 and 7 as spring cleanup days. Residents are asked to put out throwaway items that trash collectors normally refuse to haul. Brush and other plant cuttings must be tied in six-foot long bundles and construction materials are excluded from the cleanup.
