Castle Park High School Coach Bob Korzup called Wednesday afternoon’s game against Saint Augustine “a circus.”

The Trojans and Saints battled to a 10-10 tie at Castle Park, in a game called because of darkness after seven innings. Castle Park, which had 18 hits, scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game. The Saints were down 7-2, but took a 9-7 lead when they scored seven runs in the fifth.

Trojan first baseman Joe Heredia opened the seventh with a double and scored on an overthrow. A fielder’s choice and Charlie Schoneboom’s infield single brought home Castle Park’s other two runs in the inning.
